During the events of the episode Cult Camp, Daniel manipulated every child into putting themselves into a trance via working off of their emotions, except for Max and his friends. Daniel picked the two up, leaving Max to walk in on his own for the sake of convincing David that Daniel shouldn't be there. In the end, after a song battle broke out, he accidentally drank poison Kool-Aid, meant for the campers, without realizing it.
As to if he's alive, even, is left to interpretation until a further episode with him, or the show's end. He cracks his neck when being antagonized and perhaps has a worse temper than his seemingly composed exterior commonly suggests. Daniel plays the violin. Also, the entity he worships goes by the title "Zeemoog" and is hinted as being an alien. ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄

[[ I can picture Eliwood being like David and Hector and Lyn being Max, and after a bit Hector just shouts 'it's a two out of three vote that this guy is about as sane as Nergal!'
(ooc): Ha, ha, I have no idea what you're talking about other than the characters you're comparing with from Camp Camp.
[[ Hector is a brash, sailor mouther lord, and Lyn has no filters of a hot-tempered lady. Eliwood is the pure gentle man and acts like a saint, and Nergal is a power-crazed Megalomanic of a black magic user. That about sums up the characters mentioned. ]]
